Our volunteer run and donation funded clinic provides veterinary care to the pets of homeless and qualifying low income people in the Seattle area.  These people dearly love their pets but do not always have the resources to care for them.We have been serving people and pets in need for over 25 years.  In addition to veterinary care, a pet food bank in also available.  Other generously donated items like gently used leashes, harnesses, carriers, pet beds, toys and dishes are available for distribution.

In 1985, Dr. Bud Doney saw a need for veterinary care for the pets of Seattle's homeless people and set up a clinic,  After Dr. Doney passed away, Dr. Stan Coe and a trusty band of volunteers continued his legacy by starting The Doney Memorial Pet Clinic.  The clinic opens it's doors twice a month, the second and fourth Saturdays, at The Union Gospel Mission in Pioneer Square.

As well as offering veterinary care and a pet food bank, the mission of our clinic is to prevent an increase of unwanted pets through partnering with the City of Seattle's spay and neuter program.  If the owner is not willing to spay or neuter their pet, it will not be seen at our clinic.

The Doney Memorial Pet Clinic is 501(c)3 registered in the State of Washington.
